What does the Federal contracting landscape in Florida look like? Are you aware of the many Government agencies in the state that are consistently awarding contracts to veteran owned businesses? Is your business looking to start or grow in Federal contracting but you don't know where to start or how to sort through all of the bid opportunities to find a match for your company's products and services? These and many more questions will be addressed by an expert panel of guests who are well-versed on Florida and the Federal marketplace. Please join our Executive Director, Barron Mills, along with Jenny Clark, Beth Medina, Sana Hoda, and Frank McNally for this very informative Town Hall.

The Zoom link to join will be provided once you register. Won't be free to join the Zoom call? Don't worry, you can always watch live or later via our Facebook page here.

With over 35 years working in the defense industry, Jenny Clark shows veteran entrepreneurs how to find financial freedom in Federal contracting. When veteran entrepreneurs succeed, they hire more veterans, supporting families and creating strong communities. She cares about veterans and their families from her own family’s legacy of military service and the desire to create a community where veterans and their families can finally unpack and settle in.

Since founding Solvability in 1997, Jenny has helped thousands of small businesses with the financial systems and strategies they need for exponential growth in federal contracting. Called the “Oprah” of Federal Contracting, Jenny celebrates the top small businesses in Federal contracting each year, based on her benchmarking of the professional services organizations listed on the INC 5000 list. She hosts the awards ceremony at her annual GovCon Summit, which brings subject matter experts and industry insiders together with small business for networking and education.

Elizabeth (Beth) Medina is the Vice President of Military and Defense Programs for Enterprise Florida and is responsible for leading the military and defense team to support, promote, protect and grow the military and defense activities and industry in Florida. A retired Army colonel with 33 years of service, Beth facilitates the Florida Defense Alliance (FDA) and Florida Defense Support Task Force (FDSTF) planning and execution of programs to support defense communities, military bases, and military family support. She also plays a vital role in coordinating state and federal efforts that strengthen Florida’s military installations. In this capacity, Beth works with the Governor’s Office, the Florida Legislature, numerous state agencies, the Florida Congressional Delegation and local defense communities across the state to ensure Florida’s military bases are well-positioned to gain missions and resources.

Sana Hoda's work over the last 15 years has been rooted in marketing, communications and community -- with her current focus being to give visibility to companies working in the public sector. Her work has spanned government contracting, managing global risk at a Big 4 consulting firm and most recently, founding and being the creative director for her own startup. At Public Spend Forum, Sana works to share the tremendous, impactful work being done by the team, and to strengthen the community of buyers and suppliers who use the GovShop platform to do their jobs better.

GovShop is a simple, free way to increase awareness of your products/services across government -- perfect for those without  large marketing budgets.
